Nalin Chinthaka
My journey with wildlife began long before becoming a professional safari guide. Growing up surrounded by nature, I developed a deep love and respect for Sri Lanka's incredible wildlife from an early age. Today, that childhood passion has become my lifelong career.
With more than 10 years of experience driving safari jeeps in Wilpattu National Park and over 5 years as a professional safari guide, I have dedicated my life to helping visitors discover the true beauty of Sri Lanka's largest national park.
Every safari is different. Instead of rushing through the park, I carefully observe animal movements, bird activity, weather conditions, and natural behaviour to provide guests with the best possible wildlife encounters while respecting the animals and their natural habitat.
I communicate fluently in English and enjoy sharing fascinating stories about Wilpattu's unique ecosystem, leopard territories, sloth bears, elephants, crocodiles, birds, reptiles, and the remarkable biodiversity that makes this national park one of the world's most rewarding safari wildlife.
